STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS

 

A Door to Italy cooperates with Schools and Universities from all over the world in order to provide them special groups' programs and summer study abroad programs.

The school is located in the main heart of Genova, Unesco National Heritage. Genova and the region Liguria are the perfect place to study Italian and to combine a beautiful and exciting study abroad experience with a high quality Italian program of study recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education.

A Door to Italy is the only school in Genova member of A.S.I.L.S.(Association of Schools of Italian as a Second Language) which guarantees exceptional teaching quality. 

The unique atmosphere at our school has been praised consistently by our students and by the Institutions and Universities that work with us. The main goal of our study abroad programs is to provide the opportunity to study Italian language and culture while fully immersing in local life, in its culture, in its history, in its traditions, in its territory.

 

Universities and schools' Italian language teachers and responsibles can ask for a full package, including:

  • pick up at the arrival (airport/train station)
  • accommodation with our Italian families (treatment could be B&B or HB)
  • Italian language courses at different levels and for different purposes following requests
  • a program of scheduled extra curricular activities for the free time and excursions program
  • opportunity to add a working experience in a local company
  • welcome kit at the arrival (including a welcome cocktail)
  • entry test and final certificate of attendance
  • student card to access discount schemes to various stores and restaurants
  • text books and additional didactical material
  • complete assistance from the arrival till departure

 Every package is studied in order to perfectly respond to the school or university needs and requests.

 

Since 2005 A Door to Italy Summer study Abroad program is recognized by the RIT - Rochester Institute of Technology. RIT programmes, available for 6 weeks or for 3 months, are good to obtain RIT credits.
