Foreign University Programs - Faculty Led

A Door to Italy organizes customized programs for foreign schools and universities that include study trips abroad in their academic educational offer.
The programs are organized throughout the year and are accessible to students of various age ranges and fields of study.
Students who take part in a Faculty Led program sponsored by their university enjoy many benefits: they can continue their university studies, take advantage of the acquired credits, experience full Italian immersion including its culture and gaining life experience essential for academic and human growth.
As a hosting institution, A Door to Italy is pleased to offer its experience in organization and logistics, including offering complete planned solutions.

High School Groups

A Door to Italy hosts, with its tailor-made programs, groups of high school students. Genoa, the Liguria region and A door to Italy are a great choice for a trip in Italy that combines the study of the Italian language with a varied and interesting selection of cultural visits, tours of churches and museums, walks in lush nature, relaxation on a beach of the Riviera, or even a boat ride to enjoy the view of the coast and the city from the sea.

Marco Polo and Turandot projects

The Marco Polo and Turandot projects are aimed at Chinese students who wish to enter Italian universities and Afam institutions (Conservatories and Academies of Fine Arts), without any previous knowledge of the Italian language.
Those who access the Marco Polo and Turandot programs obtain a study visa for Italy and must attend an Italian language and culture course of 10 or 11 months, in preparation for their entrance to the chosen university.
Interested Chinese students must carry out, by August, a pre-enrollment at the Italian Embassy in China, indicating the chosen university and the the Italian language school where they wish to take the preparatory course.
A Door to Italy is available to Chinese students to whom it guarantees educational assistance, logistics and the appropriate course to achieve the language level necessary to formalize their enrollment at the chosen Afam University or Institution.
