A Door to Italy has been working with interpreters from European institutions for more than 10 years.
The interpreting department, founded in 2014, is constantly updated to offer professionals working in the sector a complete linguistic experience. This includes group course for those who wish to add Italian as a business language, simultaneous individual training and also cultural, political and social in-depth study with the "Journey to Italy" course.

The objectives for the interpreter courses are

• general and industry-specific improvement of the language
• development of anticipation skills
• analysis of idiomatic expressions and false friends
• exercises in understanding the spoken language
• knowledge of Italian society, politics, history and culture

Available in company or at school.

The industry-specific language courses are designed for those who use the Italian language at work and need to develop a specific area of the language such as law, marketing, medicine, or tourism.

A B1 level is required to attend the course.

A Door to Italy offers Italian language teachers several training opportunities for their careers:

• Monitored internship for those who are beginners and wish to take up the profession
• REFRESHER courses for TEACHERS OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE for foreigners L2-LS

The school is the place where the DILS-PG examinations of 1st and 2nd level take place, issued by the University for foreigners of Perugia and can be used for public school teaching positions at the State competitions.

Corporate language courses are one-to-one or group courses as requested by the client.
They are extremely adaptable in terms of type, content and duration and allow participants to obtain excellent training results within a short period of time.
The course includes, together with the traditional language training, a program aimed at meeting the business needs of the company and the professional.
They develop the communication skills and techniques in the field of reference.
